Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a disorder characterized by extreme fatigue or exhaustion. This fatigue does not go away with sleep and cannot always be explained by an underlying medical condition, though chronic fatigue has been linked to and metabolic syndrome.

Van Aston is from northern Utah, completing his adolescent and undergraduate education in Ogden. He received his Master of Medical Science Degree from Emory University in 2011 and spent seven years providing medical care for the unsheltered individuals in our community. Van loves all aspects of family medicine but has niche expertise in homeless medicine and wilderness medicine. He obtained an additional certification in Advanced Wilderness Life Support from Colorado School of Medicine.
Outside of his practice, Van is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, ski touring, mountain biking, fly fishing, and many other outdoor sports. He feels right at home in Ogden, Utah.
