About
William Tyler Franklin (Ty) was born in Castledale, Utah, but moved to Ogden at an early age. He graduated from Ogden High School and Weber State University and currently resides in Ogden. Ty attended Butler University located in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he received his medical training resulting in a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2012. Upon returning home to Ogden, he worked as a Physician Assistant in the Department of Cardiology and Electrophysiology at McKay-Dee Hospital for four years and also spent four years working in Family Medicine and Urgent Care for Midtown Community Health Center and Intermountain Healthcare.
Ty enjoys all aspects of primary care from pediatrics to geriatrics. He also enjoys providing care to those with urgent needs or emergencies in Urgent Care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and high school sweetheart, Zara, their four children, and two dogs. Ty loves skiing, fishing, fly tying, basketball, music, and watching his children participate in sports. They enjoy spending time at the family cabin in Island Park, Idaho. Ty is also a girls’ basketball coach at Ogden High School. Go Tigers!
