Born and raised in Northern Utah, Tyler McKinnon went to Utah State University to pursue a Biochemistry major and a minor in Spanish. Afterward, he went to Pacific University in Oregon for his Dermatology Physician Assistant studies, becoming a Diplomat Fellow. Tyler holds several achievements including the 2021 Idaho's Best™ Dermatologist.

Tyler McKinnon is passionate about all things skin, from the detection and treatment of skin cancer to helping people improve common skin concerns like acne, psoriasis, and eczema. He also enjoys education: helping his dermatology patients choose the right products, treatments, and options that will improve skin health and appearance.

Outside of his practice, you can find Tyler building and designing custom motorcycles, enjoying the Utah snow, playing soccer, or spending time with his beloved wife and three children. Tyler is fluent in Spanish.
