About Thatcher Allred

Born and raised in Ogden, Thatcher Allred went to Ogden High School and Weber State University where he studied Exercise and Sports Science. He went on to obtain his Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Gannon University in Florida.

Thatcher has close ties to Ogden Clinic and is excited to now be working as a Physician Assistant. His father is a Pediatrician here and Thatcher worked as a Physical Therapy Aide while attending college. He also completed his clinical training through Ogden Clinic's Pediatrics department.

Now a Pediatric Physician Assistant, some of Thatcher's clinical interests are preventative healthcare, holistic health, patient/parent education, urgent care, mental health, and treating sports-related or orthopedic injuries. He is the oldest of seven children and a father of three. Taking care of kids has always been very natural for Thatcher and a way of life. He loves making kids laugh and helping them to have fun. He believes kids are great examples for adults to learn from and that their health, safety, and welfare are most important.

Outside of his practice, Thatcher is an avid competitive distance runner doing events from the 5k to the marathon. He loves just about anything outdoors including hiking, camping, and enjoying the beauty and peace of nature. Thatcher also loves great music and spending almost any and all spare time with his wife and kids.
