Marty Johnson, a Family Nurse Practitioner at Cope Family Medicine, was born and raised in Tooele. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah and a Master of Science from Western Governors University. He gained clinical experience at Huntsman Cancer Hospital. During his clinical rotations, Marty discovered his passion for Family Medicine while working with Dr. David Cope. Now back at Ogden Clinic, Marty is dedicated to serving the community.
Marty aims to positively impact patients' lives and enjoys caring for individuals regardless of age, race, gender, or condition. He believes in creating a welcoming environment for all seeking care. Marty's clinical interests focus on empowering patients through education on current guidelines and fostering meaningful healthcare decisions.
Outside of work, Marty cherishes time with his family, including his wife, dog, and two energetic boys. He enjoys various sports, particularly mountain biking, and outdoor activities. A fun fact about Marty: he played college rugby for Utah State University and the University of Utah. He also took table tennis classes in college and won a table tennis tournament in 2022.
