Visitor Information And Restrictions

Along with other healthcare groups in Utah and throughout the nation, Ogden Clinic has been monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak as it evolves. Each passing day brings new developments, but our top priority remains the health and well-being of our patients and the communities we serve.

These are the current protocols Ogden Clinic has put in place for COVID-19 inquiries/visits.

Important: Patients experiencing flu-like symptoms should contact their provider or call ahead to schedule an appointment. You can also use the Ogden Clinic chat feature to talk with a representative at Ogden Clinic.

Instructions and Restrictions

We have implemented visitor protocols to protect our patients, caregivers, and clinic facilities. If you or a family member experience flu-like symptoms, please be aware of these instructions within our facilities.

Eight of our urgent care locations are actively performing COVID-19 screenings, so please help us keep healthy people healthy and give symptomatic patients the care they need.

Current directives to be aware of:

  • ALL patients should wear a face covering when they come into any clinic. It may be a mask, scarf, or bandana that covers the mouth and nose.
  • Only one guest is permitted per patient. Visiting alone is preferred when possible. Please do not bring siblings to your child’s appointment.
  • Practice social distancing: Stay six feet apart from others and adhere to any signs and placards in the waiting room.

Patients Visiting One of Our Nine Urgent Care Facilities

If you are experiencing the following symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • and recent close contact with a COVID-19 patient or recent travel to an area where COVID-19 is active, then:

Call your provider to let them know your symptoms and situation, prior to visiting any Ogden Clinic facility.

Our Urgent Care locations now have greeters outside to handle COVID-19 visits and screening tents outside of eight of our Urgent Care locations. These tents are reserved for patients with flu-like symptoms and help limit the spread of infectious germs inside each facility.

If You Have an Appointment Scheduled

Our top priority remains the health and well-being of our patients. We have implemented extra safety measures to prevent the spread of infectious disease inside our facilities, including additional screening for symptomatic patients and extensive cleaning procedures in our exam rooms, waiting areas, and hallways. If you have an upcoming appointment, there is currently no need to reschedule.

However, if you are experiencing mild symptoms, including:

  • Low-grade fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of taste or smell

Please stay home and call your provider’s office ahead of time to notify them. While you are home, follow the CDC’s guidelines for at-home care.

Instructions for All Patients and Caregivers We ask that people wash their hands or use alcohol sanitizer before and after leaving rooms and leaving any facility.
