Dr. John Allred, MD, is a highly experienced pediatric doctor serving the Ogden community with dedication and expertise. With a strong educational background, Dr. Allred attended Medical School at Nova Southeastern University in Florida and completed his residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, specializing in pediatrics.

Continuing his commitment to excellence, Dr. Allred pursued further training at renowned medical centers, including Tripler Med Center in Hawaii and Madigan Army Med Center near Seattle. He also obtained Advanced Trauma Life Support certification in San Antonio, ensuring the highest level of care for his patients.

As a former Chief of the Pediatrics Department at Fort Leonard Wood, Dr. Allred brings a wealth of leadership experience to his practice in Ogden. He is dedicated to education and has served as an instructor for the Pediatric Advanced Life Support course, the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and earned recognition as Instructor/Mentor of the Year for the Physician Assistant program.

Born and raised in Ogden, Dr. Allred has deep roots in the community. Before pursuing a career in medicine, he distinguished himself as Student Body President at Ogden High School and Natural Science Senator at Weber State University. Dr. Allred's diverse background includes service as an LDS missionary in Japan and earning a degree in Business and Japanese.

In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Allred proudly served his country in the army, earning accolades such as the Army Commendation Medal and achieving top scores on the Army physical fitness test.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Allred finds joy in family life. He enjoys staying active through running, skiing, and softball, as well as pursuing interests in language study, reading, and serving his faith.
